Speed Web Design

The Student Government faced a challenge in the Fall of 2004: it wanted to make a large number of documents easily accessible to the University community and the public without being required to find and photocopy each document requested. However, their website—the desired medium of delivery—remained outdated and ill suited to frequent updates despite several redesign attempts.

Approached by the President of the Student Government, Speed Web Design worked with several members of the Executive Office to plan their new website. Desired features included: a home page that would serve those unfamiliar with the Student Government and individuals who visit the site regularly; a website structure that allows for easy updates, expansions, and access to hundreds of official documents; and an attractive interface that would not inhibit the site’s usefulness.
